Applications invited for 2009 awards

The Novo Nordisk UK Research Foundation was established over 10 years ago as a charity to support researchers in the field of diabetes. Funding is available on a competitive basis for clinicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals. We are now inviting applications for the 2009 awards.

• Clinical research fellowships in primary and secondary care (1, 2 & 3 year duration)
• Small research project grants (Grant)
• Additional support for study and educational travel (Fund)

Applications are invited on the following themes:

• Incretins; relating to GLP-1
• Insulin therapies in type 2 diabetes
• Diabetes Care in primary care

Closing dates:
Research Fellowships: February 2009
Grant and Fund: April 2009
